The inks contained in the set were developed by the ink manufacturer Octopus Fluids GmbH & Co. KG developed and manufactured. They are in no way inferior to HP original inks. Octopus Fluids inks are premium inks. They are specially adapted to the respective printer type and thus achieve the best printing results. Our printer inks are not an OEM product of the printer manufacturer HP. All manufacturer and brand names are used only to indicate compatibility and are the property of their respective owners. How to fill your HP 302, HP 302 XL ink cartridge: To refill HP 302 ink cartridges using a refill syringe, remove the stickers from the top of the cartridge cover (1). In the same lid there are the ventilation openings, which lead to the ink sponge or the ink sponges inside. Test with the HP 302 colour cartridge with the help of a clean cannula, under which opening which ink colour lies (2). Mark the location of each colour chamber (3) on the cartridge cover to prevent errors when filling the refill ink into the HP 302 print head cartridge. The integrated print head on the HP 302 printer cartridges lies directly under the ink sponges. Avoid damage to this important component by penetrating too deep with the refill syringe. The puncture depth should not exceed 2cm (4). For refilling, we recommend the following ink quantities: HP 302 Black: 3ml Black Pigmented Ink (5)HP 302 Black XL: 7ml Black Pigmented Ink HP 302 Colour: 1.0ml to 1.2ml per color (6)HP 302 Color XL: 2.0 ml to 2.3 ml per colour. With an empty printer cartridge with ink sponge, there is always a little residual ink inside the sponge. Due to this, the amount of refill ink that fits in the cartridge is always slightly smaller than the ink volume of the very first filling. Take the amount of refill ink corresponding to your cartridge version in the refill syringe and insert the ink sponge with the attached cannula approx. 2 cm deep in the direction of the print head. Fill the printer ink slowly and evenly into the ink sponge. Make sure you fill the correct ink colour into the correct ink chamber with the HP 302 colour cartridge. After filling the refill ink, we recommend leaving the HP 302 ink cartridge in an upright position for approximately 1 hour. Within this time, the ink can spread evenly within the sponge and air pockets remain especially in the printhead area have the opportunity to escape through the air vents. For the rest phase after refilling as well as for the storage of empty HP 302 cartridges, we recommend that you use matching storage clips with silicone insert. These protect the printer nozzles optimally against drying out and prevent the ink from dripping out (7). After inserting the refilled HP 302 cartridges, please note that the cartridges are still displayed as empty despite refilling with printer ink. However, as long as there is enough ink in the cartridge, you can continue printing with this ink level (8). On the screen of your computer, you will receive a message that the printer has recognised a used or counterfeit ink cartridge. Confirm the use of your refilled cartridge (9). Then another warning will appear, here please confirm with yes that you really want to print with your refilled cartridge (10). When printing with refilled HP 302 ink cartridges previously reported as empty, you will no longer receive warnings regarding the level of the cartridges from your HP inkjet printer. Therefore, always keep an eye on the prints (11). As long as all colours are printed clear and sufficient, there is ink in the cartridges. Please do not print once colours get pale or even disappear completely - fill the HP 302 print head cartridge immediately (12).
